Our Wait is OVER!

Today is our last day of waiting in anticipation of this journey! I know I keep saying I can't believe it, but it is true...it feels like a dream! We have a prayer request: I can't say too much, but please just pray for ONE trip that is as expeditious as the Lord will allow.

I did what I did not think I would do last night...I repacked! I took everything out to make sure what I was bringing is what I really wanted. I did take a few things out and adjusted some stuff. I am overly worried about the suitcases. I keep thinking I am going to forget something that we can't live without. Notice I said "I" am worried. My dh would be fine if we didn't zipper the suitcase shut until 5 minutes before we leave. He still has not given all of his clothes to me. Now ladies...I know that you know how irritating this is! I'll bet money that the ladies out there all packed for the long journey, right? I love my dh to pieces, but I am pretty stressed about the suitcases and I may have to start foaming at the mouth to show how serious I am :)

Have fun! We will all be thinking about you each and every day. Don't worry about forgeting something, you can most likely get it there. My last bit of advice is...enjoy this time with your husband and son. One thing my husband and I say all the time, is that we wish towards the end, that we had stopped wishing it was time to come home. first, when will we ever have that amount of time "off" together again. When we both retire! and second, will we ever be able to return to our son's place of birth? Take the time to photograph everything! and document your thoughts...this will be Stephen's story. Our first Christmas home from Kaz, my husband took our blog and had it made into a book...it was the most wonderful gift! Mak and I look at it at least once a week, and he loves to listen to the story and look at the pictures.

CONGRATULATIONS!
