PLEASE LIGHT A VIRTUAL CANDLE FOR US

It is Monday afternoon here in Kazakhstan and court will be tomorrow at 10:30 am. Please, please light a virtual candle for us by clicking on the link above or the picture of the candle and then choosing a candle to light by clicking on it. If you have a blog it would be greatly, greatly appreciated if you could place a lit candle with a link and prayer request on your blog. If you do not have a blog you could e-mail your prayerful friends with a prayer request and the link. Joe and I thank you all in advance for your prayers and support during this difficult time.
I am so nervous, but I am leaning on the Lord to bring me through this. Only God knows what the court's decision will be, but I can only hope and pray that His will is for Stephen to be with us...in our arms to love and protect and cherish forever.

Dawn, I too have lit a candle and asked my readers to light one and pray too. You have a lot of prayers going up for you and that the judge will decide as wisely as our Savior always does for Stephen to be with you and Joe.

Dawn,

thank you so much for the invite. I've spent the past half hour just catching up on what I've missed, and my heart is breaking for you. I can't even begin to imagine how overwhelming everything must seem. The fact that you are doing something groundbreaking here, in terms of the Kazkh courts and adoption system, can't possibly do much to settle you, and to me it sounds almost trite to say that surely God must have a purpose here.

I know there comes a time in our faith when we think that as lovely as "God's purpose" sounds, we just want proof; something hard and real to grab hold of and hang on to. My greatest prayer for you is that God will provide that something tangible even as you prepare for whatever tomorrow will bring.

God bless you, Joe, and your son. I am praying for you, Inna, Stephen and the wisdom of your (earthly!) judges. I only wish I could do more.

I have lit a candle and posted the link on my blog asking my readers to do so as well.

Hang in there - I cannot imagine what you must be feeling right now, but I hope that the thoughts, wishes and prayers of others are helping to give you some peace.

I have lit a candle, linked it to my blog, and am praying hard for you!! I am stalking your blog to see when you have the answer- I am wondering what time it would be over here. I'll have to find a website that can tell me so I know when it is happening.

It's now late in the afternoon in Kaz. I'm hoping that this is a case of "No news is good news" and that you are spending time with Stephen right now. Still praying for you. Debbie
