I hate doing this - I constantly feel like I am begging people for money. So many have helped already and we appreciate it more than you will ever know.
We need everyone to help - PLEASE. While my husband and I can cover the legal expenses to get the ball rolling with the civil lawsuit...there are families interested in participating that DO NOT have the money to do so. The up front cost is $2500.00 - this fee is VERY reasonable, but some families have been financially destroyed by Adoption International Program and a failed adoption.
Please, please - if you can donate EVEN $1.00 it will help! THIS AGENCY NEEDS TO BE STOPPED!

I hear ya. We've spent thousands in legal fees. Well worth it though.

ps...not to mention we have to pay thousands to travel to our court hearing, airfare, hotel, rental car, pay the legal fees for the couple days we'll be with our lawyers for the court hearing, yada yada yada. You are correct to inform others that this is an extremely expensive venture to fight. It's not free.
We are a single income family, and our old agency sent us to Russia for a child who was unavailable for adoption. And they would not show us any other referrals. They also said they started a second adoption for us in a second russian region, only for us to find out our dossier was NEVER in Russia. We paid exhorbitant fees over two years for these two adoptions, one of which we traveled to Russia for. And we like you, paid all expenses, and now legal, and court + legal for court.
Thank you for sharing how this all operates. I think many people wouldn't know.....
