Orson's wife called me today and introduced herself as the OWNER of AIP. We questioned her and she explained that she is Orson's wife and that they are getting divorced and that Orson had a nervous breakdown. She claims the business is ruined and there is no money to give to us! What a load of crap!

It's a shame but I guess they can go about this the easy way, admit wrongdoing, reimburse and move on OR keep making this worse with diversionary tactics. I just see the "pain & suffering" part of your suit increasing with each unethical, unprofessional word that leaks from their mouths! How is it your problem that their business has no money? No doubt it's due to MISMANAGEMENT!! Are you suppossed to feel sympathy? What a joke.
This infuriates me and I will DEFINATELY be writing a letter. This needs to be in the public eye and I would suggest talking to the media, as well as the public agency that governs adoptions & professional people in your state. They deserve to be broke, have their licenses revoked and to serve time!
My gut feeling on this is that you have been chosen. It sounds like there is a lot of unethical & unclear goings on in the adoption world and it's time things change. A lot of people chose to look past things once their child is in their arms and they're are just exhausted from the process and thankful to be on the other side. You may have been one of these people had your first son, your second, or possibly your third come home as promised. You would have won the battle but not the war.
With your strength, passion,your affect on the adoption & Kaz community and the depth at which your family has suffered, maybe all along you have been destined to fight the war. May God continue to give strength and grace to both of you. I truly believe that you are to be an agent of awareness & change and will ultimately save many children and AP's along the way. I believe that you will ultimately recieve the rewards that are due to you in the form of the family you and Joe so richly deserve. You all will be in my prayers EVERY SINGLE NIGHT! If orson's business is broke, he has his multi million dollar home. As I told you, angry parents have made the journey to Orson's AIP office in PA. It is nothing but a sham office.
EVERYTHING is done from Montecito home. Orson does not have license to originate adoptions through the state of CA. He is incorporated in PA to protect his bottom.
I have been hearing about orson's nervous breakdowns for about 2 years. My advice to Orson is to get meds and make right as best he can the harm he has done. I have yelled at him and been yelled at by him. I have seen his translators cry over the obvious "baby selling."
I personally took one young couple out of a sweltering apt and put them up in a hotel after buying them a stroller, a baby bed and a walker in the open air market.
They did get a beautiful baby boy but not the one they were promised. The family, like Brittany's mother and father had been sent all over the country being shown very sick children. This hhappened to Britany's mother as well as a Texan family who were promised a blue eyed baby girl (they had her picture).
They took home a kaz baby from Almaty, just as Brittany's mom eventually took a Kaz baby.
No matter, most parents don't care about hair or eye color they are simply promised this by Orson and Molly. If I heard him say once, I heard him say fifty times that he gets "the most beautiful babies and the smartest."
It is true that any parental involvement makes a child unadoptable, But why are kids who don't have their papers straight shown as adoptable?
Please call ANNE BENTLEY at Little Miracles for my home info. Anyone and everyone who has been harmed by AIP needs to get together and form a class action suit.
I was going to organize this when I first came back from KAZ but feared I would hurt the entire adoption process in KAZ and not just this one agency. An aquaintance of mine runs the largest adoption agency in Cambodia. A show on 48 hours closed cambodia to Americans. Didn't change the need of these children to be adopted.
Orson and his wife live behind an electric gate. However, everyone needs to get out of the house. He can be served and forced to mount a defense.
I am the birth mom of six and the adoptive mom of one. She is from Ukraine. I have been involved in the adoption of seven children from Kaz and six from Ukraine.
Every Kaz adoptive paprent needs to post on each site or blog they know if they have direct information regarding AIP, Orson and Nigmat.
Orson and his wife are socially prominent in Montecito. They have no right to be. Run them out of town. Call the Montecito and the Santa Barbara papers, get coverage.
I told Orson 2 years ago he would go down and he laughed. He told me I had no idea wha it took to get an adoption through in Kaz, that money always had to exchanged- bribe money.
I found this to be true for orson but not for those whose reputations are impeccable. International adoption is not for sissies but they should not be crippling and end in heartbreak. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
